Privacy Policy for Pictionary Generator
You can use the word generator without creating an account. This policy explains the limited data involved in operating the site and the additional technologies that may be used for analytics and advertising.

Information used by the generator
The generator stores the identifiers of words shown during your current browser session in SessionStorage. This prevents immediate repeats. SessionStorage stays in your browser tab and is not an account or a cross-device profile.
Our hosting provider may process standard request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamp, and diagnostic or security logs. Retention is controlled by the hosting provider and operational settings.
Optional waitlist
If the waitlist is enabled and you choose to join it, we process your email address, selected language, source page, and stated interest so we can record the request and send relevant product updates. The server also uses network information briefly to limit abusive submissions.
Waitlist participation is optional and is not required to use the generator. You can ask us to remove your waitlist information by emailing hello@pictionarywords.site from the address you submitted.
Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregated usage such as pages visited, approximate location, device or browser category, and interactions. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. Analytics is not required for the generator itself to work.

We may use Google AdSense to fund the free site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies if they are enabled in our advertising settings.

Consent choices
Where required, advertising and non-essential storage choices are collected through a consent management platform. That flow provides options to consent, decline, manage vendors, and later change the choice.
Children’s privacy
The site is intended for game organizers, parents, teachers, and general audiences. It does not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information. A child should not join the optional waitlist. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.
Data sharing, retention, and security
We use service providers only where needed to host the site, deliver email, measure usage, prevent abuse, or serve advertising. They process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell a waitlist email address as a contact list.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose described, operational security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. No online service can promise absolute security, but we limit collection and access to reduce risk.
