A picture can stand for an object, a sound, or part of a phrase. Think about how the clues fit together, and use the category to narrow your guesses.
Choose a category and difficulty, or leave both filters open for a mix. Play one puzzle at a time, and keep the category visible: it is part of the clue.
Read the emojis together. They might spell out a compound word, describe a scene, or point to a familiar title. Say your guess aloud or compare guesses with friends.
Select Show answer to check your guess, then choose Next for another puzzle. Previous lets you go back, and Shuffle starts the current selection in a new order. Answers close whenever you move to another puzzle.
The rules are simple. The connections are the fun part.
Emoji Pictionary is a visual guessing game. Instead of watching someone draw, you look at a sequence of emojis and guess the word, phrase, movie, song, or brand it represents. Some clues show the answer directly; others combine the meanings of two or more pictures.
All 50 puzzles on this page have an answer. Select Show answer beneath the current clue when you are ready to check your guess. Answers start hidden and close when you change puzzles, filters, or viewing mode. You do not need an account to play.
Yes. Choose Browse all to see the puzzles that match your filters, with answers still closed. Back to game returns to your current puzzle. Without JavaScript, the full list and answer toggles remain available, while the game controls and filters are unavailable.
Easy clues usually show familiar objects or names with one or two emojis. Medium clues often combine two or three meanings into a phrase. Hard clues can involve a longer expression, a specific song, or less familiar knowledge. More emojis alone do not necessarily make a puzzle harder.
Yes. There are five puzzles each in the Bridal, Christmas, and Office categories. Use the occasion shortcuts to start a themed round, or mix categories for a longer game. For a group, keep the answers closed until everyone has had a chance to guess.
This is a self-checking game, not a spelling test. Familiar alternatives such as NYC for New York City or PB&J sandwich for Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich are reasonable. Some picture clues can suggest more than one answer, so agree on a fair interpretation with your group.
In regular Pictionary, one person draws while the others guess. Here the emoji sequence is already the clue, so everyone can guess at once. To add a drawing round, reveal an answer and have someone sketch it without writing letters or numbers.
